Professor, Chief Physician, and Doctoral Supervisor; graduated from the Department of Medicine at Sun Yat-sen Medical College (now Sun Yat-sen University) in 1962.With over 60 years of experience in oncology research, he possesses profound expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of head and neck tumors—particularly laryngeal and oral cancers—and currently serves as the Chief Expert for laryngeal cancer in Guangdong Province.Renowned as a "zero-bleeding" specialist, he pioneered the "intermittent blockade ligation" and "mattress-style interlocking cross-suture" techniques, which effectively prevent and minimize intraoperative bleeding.He has achieved outstanding results in surgeries for thyroid tumors, parotid gland tumors, and facial/neck hemangiomas.He has led numerous research projects funded by the Ministry of Education, provincial and municipal science and technology commissions, the Department of Health, and Sun Yat-sen University; he received the State Council's "Special Government Allowance" in 1992 and the Second Prize for Medical and Health Science and Technology Progress from Guangdong Province in 1999.
