Areas of Expertise
His core expertise lies in precision radiotherapy, radiosurgery, and the radiobiology of hypofractionated tumor treatment. He is highly proficient in CyberKnife technology, which enables image-guided, non-invasive, bloodless, and painless stereotactic radiotherapy for tumors throughout the body—including primary and metastatic brain tumors, head and neck cancers, lung cancer, liver cancer, and pancreatic cancer.Furthermore, he pioneered the Stereotactic Central Ablative Radiation Therapy (SCART) technique.Based on the principles of Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT) and Spatially Fractionated Radiation Therapy (SFRT), SCART utilizes high-precision targeting to deliver an ablative, high dose of radiation to the tumor's core while minimizing the dose to the periphery. This achieves an innovative treatment model characterized by "core eradication and peripheral control."Clinical studies indicate a tumor control rate of nearly 95% three months post-treatment, offering a new, non-invasive, and highly effective therapeutic option for patients with large tumors who are ineligible for surgery or unresponsive to conventional radiotherapy and chemotherapy.
