On September 3, 2026, the Hospital Management Asia (HMA) 2026 Awards Ceremony was held at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok, Thailand, bringing together leading healthcare institutions from across the Asia-Pacific region.
Foshan Fosun Chancheng Hospital stood out among numerous outstanding healthcare organizations with its project, “Bridging the Care Gap: An Integrated Community Health Care Network,” winning the Best in Community Involvement award.
Since its establishment in 2002, the HMA Awards have recognized outstanding hospital initiatives and healthcare leaders across the Asia-Pacific region. This latest honor reflects international recognition of the Hospital’s innovative approach to community health and affirms the impact of its long-term commitment to community-based healthcare.
From Reaching Communities to Becoming Part of Them
In recent years, Foshan Fosun Chancheng Hospital has continued to extend healthcare services beyond the hospital and into communities, schools, homes, and elderly-care settings.
Through health education, community clinics, specialist outreach, first-aid training, school health screening, and home visits for older adults, the Hospital has brought together emergency care, primary care, preventive health, school health, and elderly care to build a coordinated healthcare network covering the entire life course.
The Hospital’s goal goes beyond providing medical treatment. It is developing a more accessible, continuous, and inclusive model of care that helps bridge gaps in healthcare delivery and brings professional medical resources closer to the people who need them most. This is also the core value behind the HMA award-winning project.
International Healthcare for Diverse Communities
As Foshan becomes increasingly international, the number of expatriates and international families continues to grow, along with demand for more diverse and accessible healthcare services.
Foshan Fosun Chancheng Hospital has expanded its community health network to serve expatriate communities and international schools across the Greater Bay Area. Through health talks, first-aid training, medical consultations, and other programs, the Hospital provides professional and accessible health support for students, teachers, and families from diverse cultural backgrounds.
By helping quality healthcare cross language and cultural barriers, these initiatives demonstrate how the Hospital’s international healthcare philosophy is being translated into everyday community practice.
Foshan Fosun Chancheng Hospital continues to strengthen its international healthcare capabilities. As one of Guangdong’s first international medical service pilot hospitals, it established its International Medical Service Center in 2019.
In March 2026, Foshan Fosun Chancheng International Medical Center (FIMC) officially opened in a dedicated 12-story building. Covering approximately 20,000 square meters with 100 beds, FIMC integrates outpatient care, inpatient care, health screening, and rehabilitation under one roof, while introducing an innovative General Practitioner + Specialist dual-physician care model.
As Foshan’s first designated medical institution under the Hong Kong and Macao Medicine and Equipment Connect policy, the Hospital has introduced a range of internationally innovative medicines and medical devices, serving more than 2,100 patient visits to date.
The Hospital has also established direct billing partnerships with more than 35 major domestic and international commercial insurance providers. In recent years, it has served nearly 30,000 international patients and visitors from more than 100 countries and regions.
With an international perspective, Foshan Fosun Chancheng Hospital seeks to understand diverse healthcare needs; with professional expertise, it responds to every patient’s trust; and with compassionate care, it connects people across cultures and borders.
From Foshan to the world, health knows no borders, and care knows no boundaries.
Looking ahead, Foshan Fosun Chancheng Hospital will continue to strengthen its international healthcare capabilities and provide trusted, high-quality medical services for patients from around the world.
